The British established control over the Indian subcontinent and planted their self-grown seed of division, discord, and separation among the Muslim people in the form of the Qadianis. Thanks to the sacrifices of scholars and the Muslim community, the British left, but they left behind their self-sown seed and unclean offspring, the Qadianis, who began dreaming of governing the region after the British departed. After the partition of India, they fled from Qadian and made Chiniot (Chunab Nagar) their center and headquarters. The sacrifices of ten thousand Muslims in the 1953 movement further exposed their disbelief. The 1974 movement, which arose due to their mischief, brought the issue of Qadianism to the National Assembly. At the request of Mirza Nasir, they were summoned to the Assembly to present their stance, and a debate continued for 13 days, ultimately leading the Assembly to unanimously declare them a non-Muslim minority. Although the bill declaring the Qadianis as a non-Muslim minority was passed, some political changes and disputes among religious groups delayed the legislative process. In 1984, under the Qadianism Prohibition Ordinance, both factions of the Qadianis (Lahori and Qadiani) were prohibited from using Islamic symbols, and laws were made for fines and a three-year prison term for violations.

What should have happened is that after this ordinance came into effect, the Qadiyanis would have stopped using Islamic symbols, but deliberately they made violating it a habit. They would take the Kalima Tayyiba, turn it into a badge, and wear it on their chests, write it on their places of worship, and then FIRs would be filed against them. Cases were made and they took their appeals to the session court, high court, supreme court, and even the federal Sharia court. However, all the courts declared them guilty for violating the constitution, and today all these judgments have been compiled in book form under the title “Judicial Decisions Against the Fitna of Qadianism,” which is available for the study of lawyers, judges, and ordinary Muslim brothers and is quite significant.

The latest situation is that, according to Mr. Rao Abdul Rahim Advocate: “For a long time, the Qadiyanis have been altering the Quran and printing it to send to various countries, including South Africa, Denmark, England, Japan, and others, in Urdu and their languages from Pakistan. There, unsuspecting Muslims have been reading it, thinking it’s correct. For instance, the verse from Surah Al-Baqarah in the Quran, ‘وَبِالْآخِرَۃِ ھُمْ یُوْقِنُوْنَ,’ is accurately translated as ‘And they have faith in the hereafter,’ but it has been wrongly translated as ‘And they believe in the prophecies to come.’ Upon investigation, it was found that this was being printed in Chenab Nagar. Applications were submitted against this to the Prime Minister, Human Rights, etc. Orders came from the Supreme Court and the Prime Minister, and the matter was escalated to the Department of Auqaf, where all evidence, copies, lists, and websites were submitted against them. They set up a committee to go and review these publications. However, the administration of Chenab Nagar did not allow this committee to come in, essentially denying access to a provincial government body. In a petition submitted to the court, when the judge heard from both Muslims and Qadiyanis, the Qadiyanis outright refused to acknowledge these printings as theirs, at which point we presented the copies. After the decision, these copies were seen being distributed in Qadiyani seminaries. The court ruled that all these copies should be destroyed wherever they are, publication should be halted, and a ban should be imposed on the websites. Despite this ruling, copies were still distributed, prompting us to file an FIR, which was not registered. Following this, a JIT was formed, headed by the DPO of Chiniot, with members from various departments involved; despite this, their report labeled Muslims as liars and Qadiyanis as truthful. In an interesting turn of events, the next day the FIA arrested a Qadiyani, and after forensic analysis of his mobile, it was revealed who was printing the altered Quran copies and where they were being distributed, as well as which websites they were uploaded to. As soon as this investigation began to unfold, Shahid Javed, who was the DIG at that time, used his influence to halt it. We received complaints from Chiniot that teams were going around offering to exchange old Quran translations for new ones, distributing them for free in people’s homes, and upon checking, it was the same incorrect translation of the Quran. We filed another application, after which the Lahore High Court warned the Quran Board and issued directives to all institutions to halt this, but to this day, nothing has been done.”

The limit was reached when, under the court’s order, an individual named Mubarak Sani, the principal of Madrasa Al-Hifz in Chenab Nagar, was arrested for the crime of printing and promoting a distorted version of the Quran. In response, the Ahmadiyya community laid siege to the police station; this siege ended after protests from Muslims. Now, influential Ahmadis both domestically and internationally are pressuring for the suspect’s release and have mobilized to obstruct the recovery of the altered Quran and to conceal it.

Muslims are demanding that the suspect not be allowed to flee the country and that all accomplices be arrested. They insist that anyone disrupting peace and order be apprehended and brought to justice. Additionally, Ahmadis should be bound by the Constitution of Pakistan, and the government of Pakistan must closely monitor their nefarious schemes.

In 1974, when Ahmadis were declared a non-Muslim minority, scholars stated that prior to this decision, Ahmadis were regarded as warring infidels according to Islamic law. However, after this resolution, their status changed to that of protected infidels, meaning just as protected infidels have the right to live under the governance of an Islamic state, so do these Ahmadis. It is the duty of both the government and the citizens to protect their life, property, and honor. Yet, from that day to this day, Ahmadis have never acknowledged the Constitution; instead, they outright refuse to accept the Constitution of Pakistan.

In Pakistan, there are minorities like Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Parsis, etc. They accept the Constitution of Pakistan, respect its courts, acknowledge the Pakistani army that protects the borders, and take pride in calling themselves Pakistanis. The Qadianis are a non-Muslim group that, despite living in Pakistan, do not accept the Constitution of Pakistan, do not recognize the decisions of the National Assembly, do not respect the Pakistani courts or the army, and feel no pride in being Pakistani. Instead, they consider themselves Muslims and label all other Muslims as infidels, believing that Pakistan will become Akhand Bharat—God forbid. They insist on burying their dead in Pakistan as a trust and continuously work to dismantle the 1973 agreed Constitution. This is why Qadiani or Qadiani-friendly individuals infiltrate the bureaucracy and constantly conspire to undermine and abolish the Constitution of Pakistan.

In principle, Muslims should protest that while the law globally states that anyone who abides by a country’s constitution can enjoy the privileges of that country, those who do not respect the constitution lose not just their privileges but also their right to reside in that country. So why is there a special exemption for the Qadiyanis, allowing them to exploit the rights of the Muslim youth here, receive benefits, and even occupy key positions? They make a racket globally about how their rights are being violated in Pakistan and question why they are labeled as non-Muslim and infidels in the Constitution of Pakistan. For this reason, scholars have long been urging their Muslim brothers to please boycott all Qadiyani products and avoid any transactions with them, as Qadiyanis use the profits from their products to distort the Quran, undermine the religion of Islam, and convert Muslims away from their faith. Muslims who engage in transactions with Qadiyanis unknowingly share in the repercussions and sins of this.

In any case, the Muslim community should always stay alert, protect the boundaries of their faith and nation, recognize the enemies of their religion and country, and also make others aware of them. May Allah, the Most Blessed and Exalted, protect our faith and that of our future generations, safeguard the Muslim Ummah from all trials and troublemakers, and grant us the ability to honor and defend the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the belief in the Finality of Prophethood, as well as grant us his intercession in the Hereafter. Ameen.
