The thinker of Pakistan, Allama Iqbal, once said about the Qadianis: “The Qadianis are traitors to both the country and the nation.” The truth of this insightful statement by Iqbal has repeatedly manifested itself in the form of national and governmental challenges, which no aware Pakistani can deny. Qadianism is essentially a spy group for the West and the British, which continues to relay the secrets of Muslim countries, especially Pakistan, to its masters. They consistently play the role of saboteurs to create difficulties for Pakistan with great zeal and skill. This is the same Qadiani group that has never recognized the Constitution of Pakistan. In fact, every one of their leaders not only speaks out against the national constitution and law but also threatens to endanger Pakistan and teach it a lesson. Their speeches are still on record, loudly testifying to their nefarious intentions.
The Qadianis have opposed the movement for the creation of Pakistan from the very beginning. After Pakistan was formed, they rallied behind the slogan of a united India, which remains their belief to this day. Because of this, they bury their dead in Pakistan as a trust, hoping that when a united India is established, they will be taken back to Qadian. Similarly, they instigated the wars of 1948 and 1965 against Pakistan, and it was due to their conspiracies that East Pakistan separated from Pakistan. They have leaked Pakistan’s nuclear secrets. A new wave of slander and conspiracy against our dear homeland Pakistan has emerged, which has caused an uproar of false accusations and insults, particularly targeting not only the national institutions and pillars of the state but also a minister currently in the cabinet of the present government.
This report has been created by the Qadianis themselves, and perhaps the members of both houses of the British Parliament were made to sign it without even being allowed to read it. A complete account of this report and an analysis on it is being presented here, derived from an article by Hazrat Maulana Allah Wasiya Sahib, a central leader of the International Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Movement, with some commentary added.
An all-party parliamentary group for the Ahmadi community, consisting of around 40 members from both houses of the British Parliament, has released a highly controversial report against Pakistan on July 20, 2020. This report makes serious allegations claiming that the oppression, tyranny, and rise of international extremism against Ahmadis are occurring under the patronage of the state of Pakistan. The title of this report is:
”suffocation of the faithful the persecution of ahmadi muslims in pakistan and the Rise of international Extremisl”
This is a basic and allegedly one-sided inquiry, chaired by the group’s chairperson, Siobhan McDonagh, a Member of Parliament. Its vice chair is made up of 11 Members of Parliament, and over thirty other MPs are members as well. Although it’s labeled as an inquiry, there has been no position taken by the Pakistani High Commission in London or the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs in this report. A 167-page report has been released, containing very serious allegations against Pakistan. The report itself acts as judge, jury, and prosecutor. According to the chairperson of this group, the persecution of Ahmadis is being carried out by the Pakistani state. It is alleged that this report was written by Ahmadis and that members of the British Parliament may have signed it without reading it. The report states:
1: In Pakistan, every Ahmadi faces oppression and tyranny from birth to death, and they have been deprived of the right to vote, all under state patronage. This is completely contrary to the truth. Individuals from all minority communities in Pakistan have the right to vote. Qadiyanis are considered a non-Muslim minority according to the Constitution of Pakistan and, like other minorities, they have the full right to vote. This report attempts to plunge Pakistan into a pit of conspiracy.
2: The report also accuses Pakistan’s Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Mr. Ali Muhammad Khan, of supporting the killing of Qadiyanis.
3: The report emphasizes granting refugee status to Qadiyanis who have left of their own accord to various countries, particularly in the UK and Europe, which aligns with the original intent of the Qadiyani community and is the essence of this report.
4: The compilers of the Qadiyani report have cleverly tried to convince the British government that there is now an expression of hatred against Qadiyanis in the UK as well. The report mentions the murder of Qadiyani Asad Shah in Glasgow in 2016 in a way that insinuates Pakistan’s involvement. However, Asad Shah himself had claimed prophethood after Mirza Sahib (which is documented), and thus the Qadiyanis expelled him from their community, but they are making good use of this murder for their own interests.
5: This report demands a ban on the entry of those spreading hatred against Qadiyanis in the UK. In reality, all the pressure is being put on those protecting the belief in the finality of prophethood, to silence them so that no Muslim can refute false claimants of prophethood or obstruct their paths. The executive summary of this report clearly shows that it has been prepared by the Qadiyanis, as the word “Hazrat” is added before Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s name at the very beginning. Similarly, the report uses the word “Hazrat” before the names of Mirza Tahir and Mirza Masroor, and the term “Shaheed” is used for the first Qadiyani who died in Afghanistan in 1901. In contrast, Christian institutions, Members of Parliament, the Church of England itself, and clergy in the UK do not use the terms “Hazrat” or “Shaheed” for Jesus Christ, nor do they use that term for any Muslim.
6: This report presents Ahmadis as a non-violent and peaceful community, while the reality is quite the opposite. The Pakistani High Commission in the UK should inform the British government about their violent actions, such as the attack on innocent students at Nishter Medical College Multan in 1974, and the abduction and torture of Maulana Allahyar Arshad in 1984, which took place at the Ahmadi center in Rabwah. It’s clear from the content of the report that this is a bundle of lies concocted by the Ahmadis, based on one-sided accusations against Pakistan. Therefore, our Foreign Office should summon the British High Commissioner to register a protest regarding this report.
7: The report also challenges Pakistan’s ideological borders, claiming that Ahmadis played a central role in the Pakistan Movement to create a secular state. However, Islamists here want to implement Sharia, and for this purpose, they have removed Ahmadis from all influential positions. The truth is that Ahmadis have even buried their deceased here as a trust. Their belief is that India will soon occupy Pakistan and a unified India will emerge, at which point they will retrieve their deceased remains to take them back to Qadian (India).
8: The report references a statement from Quaid-e-Azam regarding the establishment of a secular state, where he mentioned, “A Hindu will not remain a Hindu. A Muslim will not remain a Muslim.” However, the late Quaid-e-Azam repeatedly stated that Pakistan would be an Islamic state, modeled after the state of Medina. Due to Pakistan’s Islamic identity and pure religious card, almost every upcoming leader uses this foundational religious card according to the Quaid’s directive for their electoral success. The current rulers also used the alleged title of “State of Medina” for their success; who doesn’t know that Quaid-e-Azam said, “The demand for Pakistan was not made to acquire a piece of land, but we wanted a laboratory where we could test the principles of Islam.” One more thing should be kept in mind: the task of removing Ahmadis from influential positions, due to their different and dangerous thinking against society and the nation, was agreed upon by the then elected Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and his democratic party government, in collaboration with the opposition, who also declared Ahmadis a non-Muslim minority. After that, President Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq’s government issued the Anti-Ahmadi Ordinance, which represented the sentiments and emotions of the majority.
9: This inquiry report attempts to give the impression that the Qadianis’ places of worship are not safe by mentioning the attacks on two Qadiani worship sites on May 28, 2010. However, the truth is that in 2010, due to external interference, terrorists conducted thousands of attacks on Pakistan’s army, navy, and air force headquarters, as well as airports, universities, colleges, schools, mosques, imambargahs, shrines, parks, and markets, not only trying to destroy these places but also taking countless lives. It is also noteworthy that Pakistan’s navy and army headquarters and the offices of the intelligence agency ISI could not escape these attacks. Meanwhile, the terrorism against Qadiani worship places is seen as a cunning move by the Qadiani leadership to acquire visas abroad. We strongly condemn the attacks on Qadianis and their places of worship, but during this violent period, we believe that the attack on their two worship sites was not conducted under the patronage of the Pakistani state, as the report attempts to convey.
10: This report prepared by the Qadianis, which is ostensibly attributed to certain members of parliament, urges the British government to condition aid to Pakistan on recognizing demands related to the Qadianis.
11: The one-sided inquiry report also mentions a ruling by High Court Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui, in which he called for the removal of Qadianis from key positions in the armed forces and other institutions.
12: The report prepared by the Qadianis demands that the Pakistani government grant voting rights to Qadianis, allow them to print literature, and provide religious freedom. It calls for a ban on anti-Qadiani speeches and preachers, while demanding that the British government pressure Pakistan to repeal anti-Qadiani laws, return Qadiani schools and colleges, and resettle Qadiani refugees in the UK. The report heavily emphasizes securing permanent residency for Qadianis in the UK. It appears that the main focus of this entire effort is centered around this point, for which the report has been structured.
Another important point noted is that regulatory bodies in the UK media, such as Ofcom and the Charity Commission, place a strong emphasis on referring to Qadianis as Ahmadis rather than Qadianis. This term is being imposed on Muslims under official patronage in the UK. Radio and TV stations operating under Muslim auspices are being fined for not adhering to this. On the other hand, the Christian community does not refer to groups like the Mormons or Jehovah’s Witnesses as Christians because they do not believe in the fundamental Christian doctrine of the Trinity. The Christian community does not permit the government to recognize or consider them as Christians. However, there is an organized effort to impose these non-Muslims, labeled as Muslims, upon the Muslims. We demand that:
1: Our Foreign Ministry should highlight internationally that our armed forces and judiciary are independent and respectable institutions, and their decisions are not devoid of reality. The truth is that the motto of Pakistan’s armed forces is “Jihad for the sake of Allah,” while the founder and members of the Ahmadiyya community deny jihad, proving that the military and Ahmadis are opposites.
2: The Pakistani Foreign Ministry should summon the British High Commissioner residing in Pakistan to clarify how this one-sided inquiry report was published without Pakistan’s stance? It should be immediately removed from the internet, as it is an interference in Pakistan’s internal affairs.
3: This report has also implicated the Hindu, Shia, and Christian communities against Pakistan, so a press conference should be held with the leaders of these communities to send a clear message to the British government.
4: Media representatives in print, electronic, and social media should raise this issue at all levels to create awareness and consciousness among the general public.
5: Pakistan’s intelligence agencies should investigate why Pakistani diplomats in London are silent on this matter?
6: Islam guarantees the protection of minority rights, so the current government should ensure further protection for minorities.
7: The Government of Pakistan should take legal action against the Ahmadiyya community for preparing this report, which is a conspiracy aimed at defaming Pakistan and imposing economic sanctions.
8: The Government of Pakistan and the Foreign Ministry should brief embassies abroad based on facts and assign all embassies the duty to inform their respective countries about the true situation, telling them that this report represents a vile and malicious attempt by Ahmadis to defame Pakistan, create difficulties, and further weaken its economy. Effective measures should be taken to thwart their conspiracies against national dignity, integrity, and stability.
May Allah, the Most Blessed and Exalted, protect our country, its institutions, and its dignity, and annihilate both internal and external enemies of Pakistan, making our country a haven of stability, prosperity, and peace. Ameen.
