Praise be to Allah, and peace be upon His chosen servants.
On the 21st of Dhul-Hijjah 1435, corresponding to October 17, 2014, an article by Mr. Javed Chaudhry titled “Malala Will Never Be Able to Come to Pakistan” was published in the Express newspaper. In it, he praised Malala and also extolled Dr. Abdus Salam Qadiani, mixing metaphors and making grand claims about their knowledge, singing songs of love for Pakistan, and portraying all Pakistanis as envious dwarfs who fail to appreciate talent. He stated that:
1: They wanted to do a lot for the country, but their talent and beliefs always became an obstacle.
2: This was Pakistan’s first Nobel Prize, and it was an honor for us, but the doctor’s beliefs got in the way of that honor as well.
3: Until October 10, I believed that Dr. Abdus Salam was punished for being Qadiani, so his beliefs became his crime and overshadowed his qualities and achievements.
4: Dr. Abdus Salam was Qadiani, and we took away his right to be Pakistani because of that crime.
These are a few remarks made by the respected Mr. Javed Chaudhry. The way Mr. Chaudhry described the injustices faced by the doctor on behalf of the Pakistani nation, claiming unilateral victimhood while acting as both the lawyer and judge himself, could have been more balanced. If he had brought the oppressing members of the short Muslim community into the journalistic spotlight and heard their side of the story, perhaps he would have weighed his arguments more carefully before hastily passing his superficial judgment. Sir! Do you know what identity Dr. Abdus Salam preferred to use for himself? Is the real reason behind Dr. Salam’s Nobel Prize just the talent you are advocating for, or are there other factors involved? Was the soil of Pakistan deficient for nurturing Dr. Salam’s abilities, or did he lack those supposed talents? Was Dr. Salam solely blamed for being a Qadiani, or were there additional negative activities that were being used against Pakistan, the ideology of Pakistan, and Pakistan’s nuclear capabilities? Furthermore, if being a Qadiani was the only ‘crime’ of Dr. Abdus Salam, I ask you: do you not think that denying the finality of Prophethood, excommunicating the Muslim community, and undermining Pakistan’s Islamic identity are offenses according to Islam and the Constitution of Pakistan? Let’s keep these questions in mind and explore certain aspects of Dr. Abdus Salam’s enduring life as we seek to answer Mr. Javed Chaudhry’s last question. Respected one! You know very well that Dr. Abdus Salam was a confirmed Qadiani, and every Qadiani considers themselves a Muslim and labels Muslims as non-believers. You may also know that there has always been a hand of Jews and imperialism behind the Qadianis, as Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani stated: “I am a self-sown plant of the British.” Just as every Jew is considered an enemy of Pakistan and Muslims, similarly, every Qadiani is viewed as an enemy of Pakistan and Muslims. This is why, while analyzing the ideological similarities and collaboration between Jews and Qadianis, Allama Iqbal stated in 1936, “Qadianism contains so many elements of Judaism that it seems as if this movement is a return to Judaism.” You may know that every Qadiani holds faith in the false prophethood of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad and considers him the Seal of the Prophets, while Muslims believe that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the last Prophet of Allah. According to the Quran and Sunnah, anyone who does not believe in the finality of Prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him) is a disbeliever and cannot call themselves a Muslim. However, all Qadianis, including Dr. Abdus Salam, claim to be Muslims. So, do you consider them to be Muslims? Allama Iqbal, while discussing the importance of the belief in the finality of Prophethood, responded to a letter from Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru by stating, “You cannot understand the significance of the belief in the finality of Prophethood, nor the consequences of considering any claimant of prophethood or their followers as Muslims.” He also mentioned that “Qadianis are traitors to Islam and the homeland.”
Sir, it has always been the endeavor of Qadianis to place their people in key positions within the military, judiciary, Atomic Energy Commission, media, and educational institutions to further their agendas through these sensitive organizations, and they have often succeeded in these efforts. Dr. Abdus Salam advanced in his career through the patronage of Qadiani Foreign Minister Sir Zafarullah Khan, and later Dr. Abdus Salam filled the Atomic Energy Commission with his followers and pupils. While he was in that institution, there were no notable achievements, and he consistently lied to the rulers while becoming an obstacle in the development of Pakistan’s atomic bomb.
Sir, you present Dr. Abdus Salam as patriotic and compassionate towards Pakistan, while labeling all Pakistanis as cruel, ignorant, and small-minded in comparison to him. However, when the National Assembly, after hearing the leaders of the Qadianis, unanimously declared them a non-Muslim minority, Dr. Abdus Salam expressed his reaction to this historic decision in an interview by saying, “The treatment Mr. Bhutto has given to the Qadianis; I pray that not only Mr. Bhutto but also all those responsible for this decision drown.” The weekly Badyan Lahore, Vol: 7, Issue: 5, 18th May 1979
Dear Sir! You wrote that “Dr. Abdul Salam requested the administration of Government College, ‘The college has funds available; please set up a small laboratory for me, and my students will excel.'” The administration found this demand disrespectful, so they initially made him the warden of the hostel. When Dr. Salam made another request, they appointed him the coach of the football team. However, the reality is different; the principal had asked him to take on some extracurricular duties like the other professors. He was given three options:
1: Hostel warden duties, or
2: Chief of college accounts, or
3: President of the football team.
In response, Dr. Abdul Salam informed the principal in writing that he was legally not obligated to take on any responsibilities beyond teaching. However, if the duty was unavoidable, he should be paid extra for it; otherwise, he couldn’t perform these duties. (Cited from Traitor of Pakistan, p. 131)
Dear Sir! This response clearly indicates that Dr. Abdul Salam had no interest in education, the future of children, or their welfare; rather, he was a selfish, greedy, and opportunistic individual. The state of his teaching was such that students complained to the principal that he didn’t know how to teach and showed no interest in the studies. Consequently, his annual report noted: “Dr. Abdul Salam is not fit for Govt College Lahore. He should be a researcher, but he is not a good college man.” These remarks can still be found in the records of Government College. Later, during his time as a professor at Government College Lahore, when Cambridge University offered him a lectureship, Dr. Abdul Salam happily accepted it. He then went to the UK to work in a lectureship position for three years or less, as per the Punjab Government’s permission and Notification No. 2/6075 dated February 1954. The first person to welcome him there was Sir Zafarullah Qadiyani. Around 1960, he came to Pakistan and became the scientific advisor to President Ayub Khan. Later, he also served as an advisor during the prime ministership of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. When on September 7, 1974, the Parliament declared Ahmadis as a non-Muslim minority, Dr. Abdus Salam submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on September 10, 1974, as the Prime Minister’s scientific advisor. He explained his reason as follows: “You know that I am a member of the Ahmadi (Qadiani) sect. I strongly disagree with the constitutional amendment regarding Ahmadis recently passed by the National Assembly. Issuing a fatwa of disbelief against someone is against Islamic teachings. No one can intervene in the Creator and creation relationship. I absolutely do not recognize the National Assembly’s decision, but now that this decision has been made and its implementation has begun, it is better for me to sever ties with this government that has passed such a law. My connection with a country that declares my sect as non-Muslim will henceforth be purely nominal.” Now tell me, did he love Pakistan or his Qadiani group, and was he working for Pakistan or for the nurturing of his belief and obedience to his leaders? Moreover, listen to this: Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, in an interview, reveals Dr. Munir’s conspiracies, stating: “…It is very wrong to lie to the head of the government, but the former chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission, Munir Ahmed Khan, and his cronies boldly lied to former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. They planned to take a small amount of explosive material, bury it in the ground, mix in some cobalt and zinc, and then cause an explosion to trick Bhutto into believing that we had conducted a nuclear explosion. When I found out, I clearly told Zulfikar Ali Bhutto that this was their plan…” (Daily Khabrain, Lahore, May 31, 1998, quoted in Traitors of Pakistan, p. 165). And this Munir Ahmed Khan was the one who was appointed on Dr. Abdus Salam’s recommendation and held the position for seventeen years, yet showed no significant performance in his field. Renowned Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir writes about him: “…Today, Munir Ahmed Khan tries to claim credit for the success of the atomic bomb on television. This person has always conspired against becoming a nuclear power. Dr. Abdus Salam was a staunch Qadiani, who was awarded the Nobel Prize solely because he recruited people who aimed to sabotage Pakistan’s nuclear program into the Atomic Energy Commission. These scientists brought in by Munir Ahmed Khan were determined to ensure that Pakistan never became a nuclear power.” The weekly magazine “Zindagi Lahore,” dated June 28 to July 14, 1998, records that during the Multan Conference, when Bhutto expressed his desire to develop an atomic bomb, his scientific advisor, Dr. Abdus Salam, not only opposed him but also stormed off to London out of anger. Bhutto, fearing that Salam might reveal all the secrets to the enemy, convinced him through mutual friends, claiming that the Multan Conference was merely a political drama. Similarly, others hired on Salam’s recommendation, like the chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission, Dr. Ishtiaq Usmani, also opposed this idea. The well-known intellectual, Dr. Waheed Ishrat, writes: “The notorious Qadiani scientist Dr. Abdus Salam also leaked secrets of Pakistan’s nuclear plant to the American government out of hostility towards Pakistan, to which General Zia remarked, ‘Never bring that bastard in front of me; he is a puppet of America, Britain, and the Jews, and that’s why he was awarded the Nobel Prize.'” The irony is that whether it was Pakistan’s first foreign minister, Sir Zafarullah Khan, or Dr. Abdus Salam, neither ever felt ashamed of denying the finality of prophethood of the last Prophet (PBUH) and accepting the authority of an obscure individual, thus severing ties with the Muslim Ummah. Yet, our intellectuals and columnists are embarrassed that we did not retract the unanimous decision of the National Assembly, confessing in accordance with Dr. Abdus Salam’s wishes that he was truthful, that the claimant of prophethood was also true, and that we are the unfortunate ones ashamed of our connection with our true Prophet (PBUH), Oh, what a pity! You’ve paid a great tribute to them for receiving the Nobel Prize and called it an honor for Pakistan. Can you tell me if Dr. Abdus Salam referred to it as Pakistan’s honor? If he made such a statement, please bring it to light. However, this award was not given to Dr. Abdus Salam for presenting a revolutionary theory; rather, it was awarded as a reward for his services in tarnishing the image of Islam and Pakistan. In a radio interview, Dr. Abdus Salam himself acknowledged that he advanced the discoveries of Maxwell and his colleagues in physics, and he did not achieve any major breakthrough in that field. (Nobel Prize and Dr. Abdus Salam, Shafique Mirza)
Informed circles indicate that since the Qadiani community has been declared a non-Muslim minority in Pakistan, its position to infiltrate the Muslim community has severely weakened, and they have been unable to operate effectively in any Islamic country for American interests, as they are seen everywhere as imperial agents and spies. However, America did not want to abandon the old loyalists of the British Crown; therefore, it first launched a campaign in prominent scientific newspapers and journals influenced by Jewish interests in favor of Dr. Abdus Salam, and eventually adorned his chest with the Nobel Prize medal. Dr. Steven Weinberg vehemently protested Dr. Abdus Salam receiving the Nobel Prize and said in an interview: “Dr. Abdus Salam has not made any significant scientific advancement worthy of such a prestigious award; rather, he has been associated with us under a special and unseen scheme that falls under serious dishonesty.” Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan also stated in an interview: “The Nobel Prize awarded to Dr. Abdus Salam was based on theories. He had been trying to win the Nobel Prize since 1957, and finally, on the centenary of Einstein’s death, he received it. In fact, the Qadianis have an official mission in Israel that has been operating for some time; the Jews wanted to please their like-minded individuals on the anniversary of Einstein, so Dr. Abdus Salam, a Qadiani, was also awarded this prize.” (Interview with Dr. Abdul Qadeer in weekly Chatan Lahore, February 6, 1984) That’s why Dr. Abdus Salam has always opposed Islam and Pakistan while defending his faith of Qadianism. When he received the Nobel Prize in Stockholm in 1979 and spoke to journalists, he clearly stated, “First and foremost, I am a servant of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani, then a Muslim, and then a Pakistani.” (Weekly Zindagi Lahore, June 14, 1990)
Dear Sir! These are all the facts, circumstances, and events based on which every Pakistani today labels Qadianis as traitors to the nation and the country, spies for Jews and Americans. What could be the reason that Qadianis do not recognize the constitution of Pakistan? Every Qadiani wishes to see the country drown, considers tearing the nation apart as their religious duty, and yet our intellectuals and journalists seem to play the role of their advocates and representatives—why is that?
Mr. Javed Chaudhry has written about Malala that she is a Muslim, so why are we against her? Sir! As Muslims, we do not doubt the Islam of any claimant. However, if someone is casting doubt on their own Islam, we don’t consider it our duty to defend them. Who is Malala? We are open to the kind of humanitarian and moral sympathy she needs. Please ensure that she gets the justice she deserves; it is her right. However, there has also been a great injustice done to Malala, and addressing that should be part of your duties as well.
Various people have been confused about her name, lineage, place of birth, upbringing, and her background. Please clear the misunderstanding among the Pakistani nation and its myopic analysts, especially those sections of the Western media that have written about her. Try to explain to these shortsighted Pakistanis the parts of the book written about her that they do not comprehend, resulting in the nation committing injustice against Malala.
Dear sir! What services has Malala done for Pakistan that she had a book written under her name where Pakistanis were insulted and Salman Rushdie, the cursed one, was praised? That Salman Rushdie, who called the verses of the Quran “Satanic Verses,” who insulted the Prophet (PBUH) and his family (PBUH)? Are these the people, like Dr. Abdus Salam and Malala, whom our journalist brothers never tire of praising? Alas!
It is regrettable that even our Muslim journalists are being swept up emotionally in support of their educational, political, and professional abilities in the name of human rights and humanitarianism, while no effective effort has been made to expose their anti-Islam and anti-Pakistan agendas or their secret missions favoring India and Israel.
Nonetheless, Mr. Javed Chaudhry! If Dr. Abdus Salam and Malala’s factual background deserves the kind of accolades you wish to give, then you should also be awarded the Nobel Prize for truthfulness and righteousness in the disordered environment of Pakistan for this significant act.
