Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s belief is important to discuss. He metaphorically beheads himself with his own sword, in his book, Taryaq-ul-Quloob, page 300. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani explains the meaning of ‘Khatam-un-Nabiyeen’ (Finality of Prophethood).
He mentions, “A girl born alongside me, name Jannat, we were twins, but she was born first, and I was born after her.” He states that “No other children were born after me.” Thus he claims to be the “Khatim-ul-Awlad” (last child).
What did he become? See how he interprets khatam in his mind, The last son. He explains the meaning of Khatim. Remember this from Tiryaq-ul-Quloob, page 300.
The next reference in his book Asmani Faisala, page 2. In it, he states, in his own words that
“Allah knows, I am a Muslim and I believe in the tenets that Ahl al-Sunah wa Al-Jama’ah holds and professes the Kalimah. Perform prayers, does not claim Prophethood and considers anyone who does to be a disbeliever.”
When he claimed Prophethood, he declared himself a disbeliever according to his own fatwa.
In third reference, Tabligh-e-Risalat, Volume 2, page 44, he acknowledges at the Jamia Masjid in Delhi in front of Muslims in this House of God that,
“I believe in the Finality of Prophethood (PBUH) and considers anyone who denies it to outside Islam.”
In Volume 2, page 20 of the same book, he states that “Anyone claiming Prophethood after the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a disbeliever and a liar.”
He asserts that, “Revelation began with Adam and ended with Muhammad (PBUH).”
Then in Hammat-Ul-Mushra, page 282, he writes that, “It is not permissible for me to claim Prophethood and leave Islam.”
In Asmani Nishani, page 28, he states that, “I do not claim prophethood at all, I do not want to be excluded from the Ummah, and I do not deny the Prophet’s miracles, the angels, or Lailat-ul-Qadr, or anything.”
He emphasizes that, “No Prophet will come after the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for his Ummah, neither a new Prophet will come, nor an old one, and no verse or point of the Quran will be altered.”
I gave you a few references just to tell you that in dozens of hundreds of references, to show how clearly he stated, “That anyone claiming to be a Prophet after the Prophet (PBUH) is a disbeliever and outside of Islam.”
He also established arguments for this position. In his interpretation of the Ayah ‘Ma Kana Muhammadun Abaa Ahad’in’ Mir’rejalikum’ found in Azazla-e-Awaham, page 614, he translates in his words that,
“The verse clearly indicates”, the respected scholars have also translated it. So how does him Ummah have the right to change the translation? He translated in his words by pointing verse,
“But He is the Messenger of Allah and He is the finishers of the Prophets.”
And then he writes that this verse is implying That after the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) there will be no messenger or prophet in the world.
And then he says that, “the revelation has been cut off until the Day of Judgment.”
And the he further writes in Hamamat-Ul-Mushra, he writes that, “Anyone who alters these commandments and claims Prophethood after the Prophet is undoubtedly the brother of Musaylima the liar.”
