My name is Mubashra Shaheen. I was born in Lahore. We were living in Samanabad (Lahore). My father was income Tax Advisor. And I got my education in Lahore as well; I did my BA from Samanabad College. My schooling was also done in Samanabad.
I was a Qadiyani by birth; both my paternal and maternal grandfathers took oath of allegiance on the hands of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiyani, so both my mother and father were also Qadiyani since their birth and they got married. Therefore, my whole family from both paternal and maternal side are Qadiyanis by birth.
in 2003, by the grace of Allah, I went to Jamia Ashrafia and Alhamdulillah embraced Islam on the hands of a Maulana (Religious Cleric).
So when I embraced Islam with the blessings of Allah, as my family is quite fanatic in this matter so they couldn’t bear my conversion towards Islam. Due to that my brothers had beaten me a lot and did so many other things, they even me threatened me of displacement from the house as well, but as I couldn’t go somewhere else so I stood against my family courageously and didn’t talk about leaving Islam neither did I take anyone’s pressure for doing so. However I stayed in my home but they boycotted with me, they didn’t allow me to indulge in any event or affair, and they had put me like a lifeless thing somewhere in the house. Then I married to a Muslim man which couldn’t succeed, upon which my family convinced me against Muslims by giving reference of may failed marriage and asked “What did I get out of this marriage?” But instead of all these things, I said that I didn.t embrace Islam for any human being, rather I embraced it to please Allah (SWT) that too from the core of my heart, so if there come any crisis that doesn’t mean that one should leave his/her religion in fact one rather stands firmly by his/her beliefs. In 1980-81, my eldest brother went to Germany while his wife was in Pakistan, they stay married for 10 years and had 3 kids; 2 daughters and one son. When my brother went to Germany, my father and my sister-in-law (my brother’s wife) had an illicit relation which was not exposed in the beginning but when one day my mother caught them and she created an uproar and protested so much, tried her best to abstain my father from this shameful act. At that time, apart from my eldest sister who was married and eldest brother whose wife was involved in that illegal affair, we siblings were too young; two of my brothers were in 9th and 10th grade, I was in 3rd year or 2nd year, one of my elder brother was in 4th year, and one sister of mine was innocent too, as we were 5 siblings at that time, elder brother was married and my father had developed illicit relation with his daughter in law. We were not mature enough at that
time as all were studying in 9th, 10th, BA and FA. Therefore, so when my mother caught both of them red-handedly, she tried to handle this issue domestically keeping that in mind that if this issue is disclosed openly, then the future of her
children would be affected and no one will marry them. My mother tried to the last extent to resolve this issue within her fold, but as my father was an Income Tax Advisor and was a rich man, and there’s common mindset in Qadiyanis that if a person is rich, then he can be forgiven even for several murderers and are allowed to do all sort of filthy, shameless deeds and can do whatever they feel like, they only pressurize the poorer ones. So when my mother couldn’t handle this domestically on her own, she went directly to Mirza Tahir Ahmad who was the Caliph at that time. So my mother went to him and told him about this very curse that struck her house and asked him to help by threatenening her husband that he will be banished from the Jamaat; as one’s removal from Jamaat is considered equivalent to death. 2ndly one who leaves the
Qadiani Jamaat is called apostate. So my mother asked him to pressurize him in this manner.

In those days, in 1981, Mr. Zia-ul-Haq was the president of Pakistan and he had ordained to arrest Mirza Tahir Ahmad. He (Mirza Tahir) was in a chaos just to avoid captivity, therefore he took my mother’s case in a casual way, although it wasn’t something to be ignored as someone was committing adultery openly, and instead of dealing harshly or he should have threatened my father, the whole Jamaat supported my father. After being disappointed by them, my mother went to higher authorities of the Jamaat one of them was Qureshi Mahmood, and some other were also among the list but I cannot remember their names now. All of them terribly insulted my
mother, pushed her away and treated her scornfully.

My mother said that if they would not make him (her husband) stop doing this shameful act, then she could do anything. They responded her by saying that if you tried to take any action then we will banish you from Jamaat, and if you took any action, then we will ask your husband to get you out of your house and will make him to suspend your money. And for a short period of time my father stopped paying for subsistences. So when we faced starvation, my brothers went to our father and asked him for money, then my father agreed upon this condition that “I will continue living with that women (daughter-in-law) openly and no one should bother me nor anyone should cause trouble for me.” As my brothers were young at that time and were not able to earn, and my mother was pressurized by the Jamaat that you won’t go to the police station,
court and neither you will publicize it that your husband has done this shameful act. Otherwise anything can happen, he can make you homeless. So my mother thought that where can I go with five children, as all of our relatives, neighbors and close ones had closed their doors on us and my father was given full protection by everybody i.e. by Jamaat, by his friends and all of our relatives.
Afterward he lived with her daughter-in-law openly for fourteen yars until he died. He died in 1994 in England, his dead body was sent to Pakistan from England. So the whole Jamaat gave him the full support, shelter and took donations from him; they used to say that he donates abundantly.
Actually, to be buried in Bahishti Maqbarah (Qadiyani’s famous graveyard) is a matter of great honor for Qadiyanis but only those who are wealthy can be buried there. Because they ask 1/8th portion of property, portion of money spent on Jewelry, monthly donations, annual donations and then a huge file which is named as the Will, has to be completed and donations are taken in such abundance that they end up in millions, and both my father and mother had opted for the “Will” so when my father died in 1994, they took him to Rabwah, and in Rabwah these workers of the Jamaat intimidate and blackmail at that very moment.
Even though my father’s Will was completed, they said still 500 rupees are due, thus we
wouldn’t allow to burry that dead body until you pay that money, and it doesn’t matter if the dead body gets decayed or demeaned meanwhile. My brothers fought and said that his (father’s) Will is complete, but my father’s friend suggested to give them money (500 only) otherwise your father’s dead body will be demeaned.
Because it’s there in Qadiyanis that no matter if the dead body gets decayed or mortified, they won’t allow you to burry the dead body unless you pay them fully. Obvioulsy at that time, everybody is anxious for the immediate burial of the dead body, so immediately my brothers gave Rs. 500 and the burial was completed.
In 2010, my mother died and her Will was also complete, but again those workers caused trouble, because it’s their way to earn, and said that amount of 250 rupees is due which my brothers payed them immediately to avoid the situation which was created last time, as they (workers) are expert in mortifying the dead body no matter what, so they paid Rs. 250 and my mother’s bruial was done there.
And they robing people in the name of Bahisti Maqbarah on a mass scale as they have floated this concept that whoever gets buried in Bahishti Maqbarah will end up in the heaven no matter he has broken all the records of committing sins. Because of all these things, I gradually got fed up. I got married, which worked for 4 and a half year then it couldn’t work and I came back to my mother in Rabwah when she was alive and I took divorce. Then I lived with my mother and that too in Rabwah, even then my mother tried hard to make me Qadiyani once again but I did not convert back.
Meanwhile in 2010, my mother died and after her death none of my sibling was willing to keep me, and then someone told me about a hostel and I came to that hostel. But I was so worried during that period in terms of financial matters and I had no support from my siblings and they had no relation with me. So I was left all alone and managed to survive on my own. Then, after some time, someon got me introduced to Shubban, and I thank Allah for His mercy that they are very nice people, they helped me a lot and supported me. They make me stay with them and take care of me whenever I get sick and apart from that they have recorded my Will as well and make sure that when I die, they will bury me in Muslims’ graveyard to avoid the possibility of my brothers becoming the owner of my dead body after my death.
Now I have no relation or connection with my siblings. They do not help me at all, in fact they still wish that I may convert back to Qadiyaniat, but I am not going at all. And now I am spending my life in a hostel and I cannot thank Shubban up to the extent.
Now this is the only purpose of my life to take Qadiyanis out of the darkness of infidelity and idolatry, towards the light of Islam.
