The meaning of distortion is to change the original words and write something else. If this distortion is done in the last book of Allah, the Holy Qur’an, then the one who distorts the circle will be excluded from Islam and will be declared liable to death. Allah Ta’ala has taken the responsibility of protecting the Holy Quran and this is why in the past when an enemy of Islam made an impure attempt to distort even a single letter of the Holy Quran, he failed miserably and there has always been the same Qur’an throughout the world. The enemies of Islam tried to make three kinds of distortions in the Holy Qur’an in different periods.
- Verbal distortion: Lack of words in the verses of the Holy Quran.
- Meaningful distortion: Deliberately conveying another meaning while translating the Holy Qur’an.
- Tahrif Mansabi: The verses that were revealed in the glory of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), applying them to yourself or someone else, or the verses that are in the glory of Makkah Mukarmah or Baytullah Sharif, pasting them in another place, etc.
Any kind of distortion in the Holy Quran is a crime and its perpetrator deserves great punishment in this world and the next.
The late Mirza Qadiani, the founder of the Qadiani religion, the false claimant of prophethood, and his so-called caliphs allowed all kinds of distortions regarding the Quranic verses in their books. Mirza Qadiani himself says that the Jamaat who distorts the Holy Quran is excluded from the believers, atheists and infidels. Mirza qadiani writes:
(1) Who are atheists and infidels?
“And we firmly believe that the Holy Qur’an is the final book of the heavens and a point cannot be more or less than its rules and limits and commands and orders and now there can be no such revelation or such inspiration from Allah that can modify or abrogate the rulings of Farqani or change or change any of the rulings, If anyone thinks like that, he is excluded from the community of believers and an atheist and a disbeliever.

Let’s see that What distortions did Mirza Qadiani make in the Holy Qur’an and how did he become an atheist and a disbeliever according to his own standards?
Distortion of Qur’an by Musailmah Qazab: “From Musailma Qazab to Musailma Punjab, every false claimant of prophethood prepared their self-made revelations by distorting the holy verses of the Holy Quran. Here is just one example. Musailma Qazab made the following distortion in Surah Al-Kausar.
Distorted verses of Masailmah Qazab:
انا اعطینک الجواھر۔ فصل لربک وھاجر۔ ان مبغضک رجل فاجر۔
Translation: We gave you jewels. So pray before your Lord and migrate. Verily, whoever has an enemy against you is a wicked person.

In the same way, the late Mirza Qadiani, Musailma Punjab, following his guru, made distortions in numerous verses of the Holy Quran. See some examples!
Verbal distortion of the Holy Quran: The original verse of the Qur’an:
وَمَآ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِکَ مِنْ رَّسُوْلٍ وَّلَا نَبِیٍّ اِلاَّ اِذَا تَمَنّٰی اَلْقَی الشَّیْطٰنُ فِیْ اُمْنِیَّتِہٖ۔ (الحج : 52)
(2) Mirza Qadiani’s distorted verse:
وما ارسلنا من رسولٍ ولانبیّ الا اذا تمنی القی الشیطان فی امنیتہ

Here Mirza Qadiani from the verse of the Holy Quran مِنْ قَبْلِکَ has been excluded because if مِنْ قَبْلِکَ had lived here, the abode of Mirza Qadiani’s prophecy would not have existed.
Original Qur’anic verse:
اَلَمْ یَعْلَمُوْآ اَنَّہ مَنْ یُّجَادِ دِ اللّٰہ وَرَسُوْلَہ فَاَنَّ لَہ نَارَ جَھَنَّمَ خَالِداً فیھَاط ذٰلِکَ الْخزیُ الْعظِیْمُ۔ (التوبہ: 63)
(3) Mirza Qadiani’s distorted verse:
الم یعلموا انہ من یحاد داللہ ورسولہ ید خلہ نارا خالدا فیھا ذلک الخزی العظیم۔

In this verse, Mirza Qadiani included یدخلہ on his behalf and excluded فان لہ and جہنم. It is noteworthy that the current Qadiani leadership has corrected the Quranic verse in the modern edition of the book but the translation has been given of the distorted verse. It is true that a thief goes by theft, not by manipulation.
Original Qur’anic verse:
یایُّھَاالَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا اِنْ تَتَّقُوْا اللّٰہَ یَجْعَل لَکُمْ فُرْقَانًا وَیُکَفِّرْ عَنْکُمْ سَیّاتِکُمْ وَیَغْفِرْ لَکُمْ وَاللّٰہُ ذُوالفَضْل العظِیْم۔ (الانفال:29)
(4) The distorted verse of Mirza Qadiani:
یاایھاالذین امنوا ان تتقو اللہ یجعل لکم فرقاناً ویکفر عنکم سیاتکم ویجعل لکم نورا تمشون بہ۔

In this verse, Mirza Qadiani added ویجعل لکم نورا تمشون بہ and excluded ویغفرلکم واللہ ذوالفضل العظیم.
The original verse of the Qur’an:
کُلُّ مَنْ عَلَیْھَا فَانٍo وَّ یَبْقٰی وَجْہُ رَبِّکَ ذُوالْجَلٰلِ وَالْاِکْرَامِ
(الرحمن : 27)
(5) The distorted verse of Mirza Qadiani:
کُلُّ شَیْئٍ فَانٍ وَّ یبقٰے وجہ رَبّکَ ذوالجَلَالِ وَالْاکرام

Here, Mirza Qadiani excluded من علیہا and added شیٔ from his own side. Moreover, two verses became one verse.
It is worth noting here that the title page of late Mirza Qadiani’s book “Azalah Uham” in which he has distorted the above mentioned Qur’an, says:
(6) “A prophet came to the world, but the world did not accept him, but God will accept him and will show his truth with great attacks. Azalah Uham,فیہ باس شدید ومنافع للناسط الحمد و المنت that in the blessed month of Dhu al-Hijjah 1308 AH, the book “Jamae Maarif Qur’anic and Explanatory of the Mysteries of the Divine Word” was compiled by Mursal Yazdani and Mamor Rahmani by Hazrat Mr. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Sahib Qadiani.”

The original verse of the Qur’an:
وَلَقَدْ اٰتَیْنٰکَ سَبْعًا مِّنَ الْمَثَانِیْ وَالْقُرْاٰنَ الْعَظِیْمَ
(الحجر : 87)
(7) Mirza Qadiani’s distorted verse:
“This is what Allah Ta’ala has indicated.”
انا اتیناک سبعًا من المثانی والقرآن العظیم۔

(8) This Qur’anic verse has also been written distorted in the same way in the “list of subjects” given at the beginning of the above-mentioned book Brahin Ahmadiyya.

The original verse of the Qur’an:
وجاھدوا باموالکم وانفسکم فی سبیل اللہ
(التوبہ : 41)
(9) The distorted verse of Mirza Qadiani:
ان یجاھدوا فی سبیل اللّٰہ باموالھم وانفسھم۔

Mirza Qadiani inserted these words of ان یجاھدو اور باموالہم وانفسھم on his own behalf and removed the words of وجاھدوا باموالکم وانفسکم and فی سبیل اللّٰہ been lifted from the end and placed in the middle. Here was the address to the Muslims and the order of Jihad. Mirza Qadiani had the unholy audacity to abolish the order of Jihad here.
The original verse of the Qur’an:
“ھل ینظرون الا ان یاتیھم اللہ فی ظلل من الغمام والملٰئکۃ وقضی الامر۔“

یوم یاتی ربک فی ظل من الغمام۔

(11) See how Mirza Qadiani distorted this verse by distorting the Quran. It is worth noting that the current Qadian leadership has corrected this verse in the modern edition as a result of the great outrage of the Muslims. It is well known that no matter how clever a thief is, he always leaves a mark. Similarly, the current Qadian leadership corrected the Quranic verse but gave the translation of the same distorted verse.

The original verse of the Qur’an:
عَسٰی رَبُّکُمْ اَنْ یَّرْحَمَکُمْ وَاِنْ عُدْتُّمْ عُدْنَا وَجَعَلْنَا جَھَنَّمَ لِلْکٰفِرِیْنَ حَصِیْرًا۔
(بنی اسرائیل : 8)
(12) The distorted verse of Mirza Qadiani:
عسٰی ربکم ان یرحم علیکم و ان عدتم عدنا و جعلنا جھنم للکافرین حصیراً۔

In this verse, Mirza Qadiani deleted the word کم and added علیکم on his own behalf.
The original verse of the Qur’an:
ھُوَ الَّذِیْٓ اَرْسَلَ رَسُوْلَہٗ بِالْھُدٰی وَدِیْنِ الْحَقِّ لِیُظْھِرَہٗ عَلَی الدِّیْنِ کُلِّہٖلا وَلَوْ کَرِہَ الْمُشْرِکُوْنَ
(توبہ : 33)
(13) The distorted verse of Mirza Qadiani:
ھو الذی ارسل رسولہ بالھدی و دین الحق و تہذیب الاخلاق۔
In this verse, Mirza Qadiani added the word تہذیب الاخلاق on his own behalf.

The original verse of the Qur’an:
قُلْ اِنْ کُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّوْنَ اللّٰہَ فَاتَّبِعُوْنِیْ یُحْبِبْکُمُ اللّٰہُ وَیَغْفِرْ لَکُمْ ذُنُوْبَکُمْط وَاللّٰہُ غَفُوْرٌ الرَّحِیْمٌ
(آل عمران: 31)
(14) The distorted verse of Mirza Qadiani:
قل ان کنتم تحبون اللہ فاتبعونی یحببکم اللہ ویغفرلکم ذنوبکم ویرحم علیکم وھو ارحم الراحمین۔

In this verse, Mirza Qadiani has added ویرحم علیکم وھو ارحم الراحمین by ending واللہ غفور الرحیم.
The original verse of the Qur’an:
یٰسٓo
والقرآن الحکیمo
انک لمن المرسلینo
علٰی صراط مستقیمo
تنزیل العزیز الرحیمo
(یٰسین:1 تا 5)
(15) The distorted verse of Mirza Qadiani:
یٰسٓ انک لمن المرسلین۔ علی صراط مستقیم۔ تنزیل العزیز الرحیم۔
(Translated by Mirza Qadiani) O Chief! So is the Messenger of God, on the right path, from God, the Mighty, the Merciful.

Mirza Qadiani has made several distortions in these verses:
- In these verses, Mirza Qadiani called himself صاحب یٰسین and the Buzur (homemaker) inspiration applied these verses to himself. It seems that now this title has been transferred to Mirza Qadiani instead of Sayyid Al Mursaleen (PBUH). (NauzuBillah)!
- In the Holy Qur’an, after یٰسٓ, there is وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَکِیْمِ in which an oath is taken by the Holy Quran, and the next verse اِنَّکَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ is the answer to this oath, but Mirza Qadiani distorted the wording and made it وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَکِیْمِ deleted the verse of and mentioned the answer without swearing.
- The verse of تَنْزِیْلُ الْعَزِیْزُ الرَّحِیْمِ n the Holy Qur’an is related to the Holy Qur’an, and the meaning is that this Qur’an was revealed by the Most Merciful God, but Mirza Qadiani considered himself to be the revealed one, and translated this verse as his attribute: To this God. From the Mighty and Merciful.
