The meaning of distortion is to change the original words and write something else. If this distortion is done in the last book of Allah, the Holy Qur’an, then the one who distorts the circle will be excluded from Islam and will be declared liable to death. Allah Ta’ala has taken the responsibility of protecting the Holy Quran and this is why in the past when an enemy of Islam made an impure attempt to distort even a single letter of the Holy Quran, he failed miserably and there has always been the same Qur’an throughout the world. The enemies of Islam tried to make three kinds of distortions in the Holy Qur’an in different periods.
- Verbal distortion: Lack of words in the verses of the Holy Quran.
- Meaningful distortion: Deliberately conveying another meaning while translating the Holy Qur’an.
- Tahrif Mansabi: The verses that were revealed in the glory of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), applying them to yourself or someone else, or the verses that are in the glory of Makkah Mukarmah or Baytullah Sharif, pasting them in another place, etc.
Any kind of distortion in the Holy Quran is a crime and its perpetrator deserves great punishment in this world and the next.
The late Mirza Qadiani, the founder of the Qadiani religion, the false claimant of prophethood, and his so-called caliphs allowed all kinds of distortions regarding the Quranic verses in their books. Mirza Qadiani himself says that the Jamaat who distorts the Holy Quran is excluded from the believers, atheists and infidels. Mirza qadiani writes:
(1) Who are atheists and infidels?
“And we firmly believe that the Holy Qur’an is the final book of the heavens and a point cannot be more or less than its rules and limits and commands and orders and now there can be no such revelation or such inspiration from Allah that can modify or abrogate the rulings of Farqani or change or change any of the rulings, If anyone thinks like that, he is excluded from the community of believers and an atheist and a disbeliever.
(Removal of illusions, page 70 of the above spiritual treasures, volume 3, page 170 by Mirza Qadiani)
Let’s see that What distortions did Mirza Qadiani make in the Holy Qur’an and how did he become an atheist and a disbeliever according to his own standards?
Distortion of position:
Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Yusuf Ludhianwi writes: The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
Translation… “In the last days, there will be many antichrists, hypocrites (the sign of which is that) they will bring to you things that neither you nor your fathers have ever heard. Beware! Avoid them! Don’t let anyone mislead you and don’t get caught in the trap of your temptation.”
(Mushkaat page: 28)
Sahib-e-Marqat writes: “In other words, they will present false hadiths, make false rulings, and promote false beliefs through makr and deception.”
This blessed hadith comes true to Mirza Qadiani and his ummah.
The last verse of Surah al-Fath:
مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰہِ وَالَّذِیْنَ مَعَہُ أَشِدَّآئُ عَلٰی الْکُفَّارِ رُحَمَآئُ بَیْنَھُمْ
“Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the Messenger of Allah, and those who follow him are strict with the disbelievers and kind to each other.”
And verse 5 of Surah Al-Saf:
ھُوَ الَّذِی أَرْسَلَ رَسُوْلَہُ بِالْھُدیٰ وَدِیْنِ الْحَقِّ لِیُظْھِرَہُ عَلَی الدِّیْنِ کُلِّہِ وَلَوْ کَرَھَ الْمُشْرِکُوْنَ
“(He is Allah, Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance (Qur’an) and the religion of truth (Islam) to make this religion prevail over all other religions, no matter how distasteful the polytheists may be).”
Mirza Qadiani’s “inspired revelation” about these two verses is that in the first verse, محمد رسول اللّٰہ and in the second verse, رسولہ refers to his self (Nauzu Billah). In the ad “Correcting an error,” it writes:
(2) “The truth is that the holy revelation of God Almighty that is revealed to me contains such words as Rasul, Messenger and Nabi, not once, but hundreds of times… Therefore, among the divine dialogues that have been published in “Braheen-i Ahmadiyya”, one of them is this revelation of Allah:
ھو الذی ارسل رسولہ بالھدیٰ و دین الحق لیظھرہ علی الدین کلہ
(See page 498 of Brahin Ahmadiyya) It clearly calls this humble person as a messenger… Then in the same book, near this dialogue, is this revelation of Allah:
محمد رسول اللّٰہ والذین معہ اشداء علی الکفار رحمآء بینھم
In this divine revelation, my name is named Muhammad and so is the Messenger.”
(Correcting a Mistake p. 2, 3 Spiritual Treasures Vol. 18 p. 206, 207)
Verse 6 of Surah al-Saf:
وَمُبَشِّرًا بِرَسُوْلٍ یَأتِی مِنْ بَعْدِی اسْمُہُ أَحْمَد
“And I give glad tidings of a messenger who will come after me, his name is Ahmad”.
In this verse, Hazrat Isa (A.S) gave the good news of the coming of the Great Messenger after him and whose name he mentioned as “Ahmad” is the example of the Lord of the Universe, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa Ahmad Mujtaba (PBUH). From the time of the Prophet (PBUH) (when this verse was revealed) to this day, not a single Muslim has disagreed with it in fourteen centuries. The Holy Prophet himself said that I am an example of the prayer of Ibrahim (A.S) and the good news of Jesus (A.S). (Mishkwat page 513) The Holy Prophet himself mentioned his beloved names Muhammad and Ahmad (Mishkwat page 515). On the basis of this good news of Hazrat Isa (A.S), the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said that I have the closest relationship with Hazrat Jesus (A.S) in this world and in the hereafter, and that there is no prophet between him and me. (Mushkaat page 509). On the basis of this verse, Islam has been fighting against Christianity for fourteen centuries. Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, after these brief references, now see the Qadiani distortion:
مبشرا برسول یاتی من بعدی اسمہ احمد
In the words of the verse of Al-Sadr, Christ has made a prediction from God Almighty that I will be the bearer of the good news of a messenger who will come after me. His name is Ahmad. The prophet’s name is mentioned as Ahmad, which cannot be the example of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) because his name is not proven to be Ahmad from any place in the Qur’anic revelation. Before the claim of Prophethood, he was known by the name of Muhammad, and similarly in the Qur’anic revelation, his name is repeatedly mentioned as Muhammad.”
(Al-Fazl Qadian daily, August 19, 1918)
(3) Now the question arises here, which is the messenger who came after Jesus and his name is Ahmad? I have my own claim, And I didn’t just make this claim, rather, it is written in the same way in the books of the Promised Messiah (Mirza Qadiani), Hazrat first Caliph Al-Masih (Hakim Nooruddin) has also said the same thing that Mirza Sahib is Ahmad, so this is what is hidden in the notes of his teachings and I believe that the example of this verse is Hazrat Masih (Mirza Qadiani) are the same.
(Anwar-e Khilafat page 21 following Anwar-e-Uloom volume 3 page 86 by Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmood)
On one side is Hazrat Muhammad Rasoolullah (S.A.W.W) and his entire ummah, and on the other side are the Promised Messiah of the Qadian Ummah, Khalifa Noor Deen and Mian Mahmood Ahmad. I leave this decision to the intelligent people of the world as to which of these two parties is true and which is false. (Here Maulana Yusuf Ludhianvi’s article ends).
(The Gift of Qadianis by Maulana Muhammad Yusuf Ludhianvi Volume 6 Page 208)
The late Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani has adapted the verses that Allah Almighty revealed in honor of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
Thus, the numerous “inspirations” through which Mirza Qadiani has stolen revelations in describing the glory of his caste, his village, his family, are all forms of distortion. In the same way, words similar to Quranic verses and “inspirations and revelations” wrapped in Quranic words are also forms of distortion of Quran.
