Hazrat Maulana Sanaullah Amritsari is one of the best scholars of the Indian sub-continent, who performed remarkable feats on the front of suppressing the Qadian sedition throughout his life. One of his historical debates with the Qadianis which took place at topic “Mud” in Amritsar district became very famous. Earlier, Maulana Sanaullah Amritsari had published a book called “Ilahamat-i Mirza” in which he had done a great post-mortem of Mirza Qadiani’s self-proclaimed inspirations. This debate of Maulana with the Qadianis was held on October 29, 30, 1902 with great fanfare. Late Mirza Qadiani himself would have come for this debate, but for fear of defeat, he sent his special disciples Maulvi Sarwar Shah and Maulvi Abdullah Kashmiri. After being defeated by Maulana Amritsari, the Qadian preachers fled the field with great shame and humiliation along with their comrades. When these envoys of Mirza Qadiani reached Qadiyan on November 1, 1902, they told Mirza Qadiani the story of the tragic end of the debate and their humiliation and shame. In a state of intense anger, first curse the place of “Mud” and then abuse Maulana Sanaullah Amritsari in a fit of anger. As an example, refer to Mirza Qadiani’s book Ijaz Ahmadi, pages 39 to 87, and the following spiritual treasures, volume 19, pages 150 to 201.

Mirza Qadiani challenged Maulana to come to Qadiyan to investigate his predictions and promised a reward and repeated his challenge again and again. Mirza Qadiani knew that to come to Qadian and investigate one and a half hundred prophecies, taking so much time for a busy man is a very difficult problem and it will take a long time to interpret and refute and investigate each prophesy. Qadiyan will leave and then he will declare his victory. Because of this belief, Mirza Qadiani said that he was told by God:

(1) “Let it be clear that three signs will soon be revealed to me through Maulvi Sanaullah.

  • They will never come to me to verify all prophecies in Qadian and it will be death for them to confirm true prophecies with their own pen.
  • If, on this challenge, he was determined that the liar should die before the Sadiq, then surely he would die first.
  • And first of all, by being unable to compete with this Urdu article and the Arabic Qaseedah, their Russianness will soon be proved.

(Ijaz Ahmadi [Appendix of Nazul al-Masih] [Page 37 of Ruhani Khazain Volume 19 Page 148 by Mirza Qadiani)

It should be remembered that Mirza Qadiani’s book “Ijaz Ahmadi” [Summina Kitab Nizul Al Masih] was published on November 15, 1902, but despite Mirza Qadiani’s bragging, Maulana reached Qadiyan and by not coming to the competition, his so-called Qasr Prophethood sat like urine foam and withdrew from the competition. Mirza Qadiani’s statement on November 15 that he would never come to Qadiyan was proved wrong in January 1903. Mirza Qadiani and his followers were greatly disturbed and humbled, so he went to God’s court on April 1907 with his case and that of Maulana Sanaullah Amritsari, and God made a decision exactly thirteen and a half months after his prosecution and it would be correct to call the history of the Qadiyan war the Day of Furqan. This decision is a blunt and final answer to the truth and falsity of Mirza Qadiani until the resurrection day.

(2) “I have heard rather, I have seen the signature of Maulvi Sanaullah Amritsari in which he requests that I am desirous of such a decision that the parties i.e. me and him should pray that the one of us who is a liar should die in the life of the truthful one.”

(Ijaz-e-Ahmadi page 14 of the above spiritual treasures volume 19 page 121 by Mirza Qadiani)

(3) He further said: “This is a good suggestion. Now stick to it.”

(Ijaz-e-Ahmadi [Appendix of Nazul Al-Masih] [Page 14 of Ruhani Khazain Volume 19 Page 122 by Mirza Qadiani)

Earlier, Mirza Qadiani had written in a discussion with Maulana Amritsari that:

(4) “But the condition shall be that no death shall occur by way of murder, but by mere disease. For example, from plague or cholera or any other disease so that such action does not cause concern to the authorities and we will continue to pray that the parties will be safe from such deaths. Only that death should come to the false which is the death of disease and this is the creed that the second party will have to adopt.”

The above advertisement of Mirza Qadiani does not need any margin or rate. This advertisement was reprinted and distributed on April 19, 1907, 4 days after its publication. (Collection of Advertisements, Volume III, Page 580) 6 days later, on April 25, 1907, another statement by Mirza Qadiani was published in the Qadiani newspaper Badr Qadiyan, in which Mirza Qadiani said: (Readers are requested to look carefully at this advertisement of Mirza Qadiani. Thank you)!

(5) “Final decision with Maulvi Sanaullah Sahib (Amritsari).”

With the help of Maulvi Sanaullah Sahib, may God bless him and grant him peace. If I am such a liar and a slanderer as you often make me out to be in every one of your papers, I shall perish in your life because I know that a miscreant and a liar does not have a long life and in the end he perishes with humiliation and regret in the life of his bitter enemies and it is better for him to perish than to destroy the servants of God. And if I am not a liar and a slanderer and I am honored by God’s dialogue and address and I am the promised Messiah, then I hope by God’s grace that you will not escape the punishment of the liars according to the Sunnah of Allah. Therefore, if the punishment which is not from the hands of man, but only from the hands of God, such as plague, cholera, etc., deadly diseases did not come upon you in my lifetime, then I am not from God Almighty. This is not a prediction based on inspiration or revelation, just a prayer I have asked God for a decision. And I pray to God that, O my Lord, the Seer and the Mighty, the All-Knowing, If this claim of being the promised Messiah is just a slander of my self and I am corrupt and a liar in your eyes and it is my job to slander day and night, so, my beloved master, I humbly pray to you that you kill me during the life of Maulvi Sanaullah Sahib and make him and his congregation happy with my death. Ameen. But O my perfect and righteous God, if Maulvi Sanaullah is not right in the accusations he has made against me, then I humbly pray to you to destroy them in my life. But not by human hands, but by deadly diseases such as plague and cholera, unless they face me openly and he should repent of all the abuses and bad language in front of my congregation, which he considers as a duty and always hurts me. Ameen. Ya Rabb ul Alameen!! But I see that Maulvi Sana Allah wants to destroy my chain by slandering them and wants to demolish the building that you, my master and my sender, have built with your own hands. Therefore, now, holding the foot of your holiness and mercy, I beseech you, sir, to make a true decision between me and Sana Ullah and he who is actually corrupt and a liar in your sight, take him out of the world in the life of a righteous person or make him suffer some other severe calamity which is equivalent to death. O my dear master, do so. Ameen.

ربنا افتح بیننا و بین قومنا بالحق وانت خیرالفاتحین۔ آمین۔

Finally, I request Maulvi Sahib to print all this article of mine in his paper and write whatever he wants under it. Now the decision is in God’s hands.

The following conclusions are drawn from Mirza Qadiani’s advertisement about Maulana Sanaullah Amritsari:

  • Among Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani and Maulana Sanaullah Amritsari, the one who is a liar will die in the life of a true person.
  • Whomever dies among these two, he will die not by murder, but by a deadly disease such as plague, cholera, etc. Now it only remains to see: What did God decide? Who died first? And what disease did he die of?

The date of death of Mirza Qadiani is 26 May 1908. That is, Mirza Qadiani died of cholera disease about 13 months and twelve days after his prayer, while Maulana Sanaullah Amritsari became dear to Allah on March 15, 1948, about forty years after this prayer (after the creation of Pakistan). It was well said: I was truthful in lying and died first.

Mirza Qadiani himself prescribed cholera for the liar. Thus he got the death he wanted. If we submit anything in this regard, there will be a complaint. It is better to present the evidence of the house so that there is no room for objection and denial. Mirza Bashir Ahmad, son of Mirza Qadiani, writes with reference to his mother Nusrat Jahan:

(6) “In the meantime, another hand came to you. But now he was so weak that he could not defecate. So I arranged by the bed and he finished sitting there and then got up and lay down and I kept pressing his feet. But he was so weak, after that there was another seizure and then you had a bout of vomiting. When you started lying down after vomiting, it was so bad that you fell on the cot while lying on your back and your head hit the wood of the cot and the condition became worse. I panicked and said, “Allah, what has happened?” So he said: “This is what I used to say.”

(Sirat al-Mahdi, Volume I, Page 11, 12 by Mirza Bashir Ahmad MA)

(7) Mirza Qadiani’s father-in-law Mir Nasir Nawab says: “When I reached Hazrat Sahib and saw his condition, he addressed me and said: Mir Sahib! I have cholera. After that you did not say anything so clear in my opinion. Even after ten o’clock on the second day, he passed away.”

(Hayat Nasir page 14 by Sheikh Yaqub Ali Irfani Qadiani)

Mirza Qadiani writes in a discussion with the late Maulana Sanaullah Sahib:

(8) “I confess that if I am defeated in this contest, my congregation, which is more than a hundred thousand now, should all be disgusted with me and separate, for when God declared me a liar and perished.” I don’t want any leadership in the state of being a liar, but in this state I will be worse than a Jew and be a disgrace to everyone.

(Ijaz Ahmadi [Appendix of Nazul al-Masih] [Page 16 of Spiritual Treasures Volume 19 Page 124 by Mirza Qadiani)

We would request the Qadianis to think for themselves and see that Mirza Qadiani’s defeat and death by epidemic cholera is not a controversial issue. Despite this, it is a great misfortune not to be enslaved by Hazrat Muhammad, the Last of the Prophets and Messengers. Mirza Qadiani himself writes:3

(9) “Now tell me if this is the sign of the followers of God that the supplications they make with great supplication will have the opposite effect and the effect is that they will perish themselves and seal their falsehood.”
