April 16, 2023, Pakistani Muslims attack and demolish a 118-year-old idol place in Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan. 189 houses and 50 shops are set on fire in Bangladesh In India, the Andhra Pradesh Waqf Board passes a resolution excommunicating the entire community from Islam. A community that is not considered Muslim is not even allowed to perform Hajj. Saudi Arabia has banned Ahmadiyya. In 1974, Pakistan declared the Ahmadi community non-Muslim. Because the Ahmadiyya community claims that they are also Muslims. There are 10 to 20 million Ahmadis in the whole world who believe a man named Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani to be a prophet. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad said that he used to dream of him. However, the Ahmadiyya Muslim community operates a caliphate system and their current caliph is Mirza Masroor Ahmad. The Ahmadiyya community has 16,000 mosques, 600 schools and 30 hospitals worldwide. They also have their own separate TV channel called MDA International (Muslim Television Ahmadiyya International).
Now who is this Ahmadiyya Muslim? What is the story of Ghulam Ahmad Mirza Qadiani’s claim to be a prophet and why do maximum Muslims not consider the Ahmadiyya community as Muslims, whether they are Muslims or not? Now time to understand it.
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani is the name that Ahmadiyya Muslims believe to be a prophet, following Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. In such a situation, before knowing the truth of the Ahmadiyya community, it is important to understand who Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani is. In 1835, Mirza was born in Qadian, Punjab State, India. Hence Qadiani became associated with his name. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani studied Arabic grammar and Persian language from a teacher named Fazal e ilahi at the age of 10. At the age of 17 to 18, he studied from a teacher named Gul Ali Shah and his father name was Mirza Ghulam Murtaza who was a physician. Ghulam Ahmed also got a little knowledge from him.
From 1864 to 1868, he also worked as a clerk in Sialkot, Punjab. When he was working as a clerk, during this time period he came in contact with a Christian missionary with whom he often had discussions. In 1868, he returned to Qadian and spent his maximum time reading religious books and preaching in the mosque. As time went by he became closer to the christian missionary.
Although they used to criticize in the name of defending Islam and used to go to public debates, but at the same time he himself claimed that he is a reformer, i.e. he is a Mujaddid of this time. Let me explain to you in one line who is Mujaddid?
Mujaddid is an Arabic word. In the Islamic tradition, Allah sends a Mujaddid every 100 years to correct the misconception prevalent in the Muslim community. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani starts calling himself Mujaddid, he calls himself the Messiah of Islam, he also wrote a book called Barahine Ahmadiyyah, which he also considered as his great work.
Now this claim is not a small claim, being a Mujaddid only sets a level in itself, but Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani did not stop there, he himself claimed that he is Jesus and Mahdi (peace be upon him). Actual Muslim believes that Jesus and Mahdi are separate personalities and they will be revealed to the world near the doomsday. There will be a war and there will be only Islam in the whole world, while Ahmadiyya Muslims believe that Jesus and Mahdi (peace be upon him) are the same personality and that is Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani.
This is the first point which is just the reverse of actual Islamic belief and after this Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani starts a separate community with some new claims which he calls Ahmadiyya. The official name is Ahmadiyya Muslim Community or Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat AMJ. In the Arabic language it is called Al-Jamaa al-Islamiyyah Al-Ahmadiyya.
The Ahmadiyya Movement was started in 1889, but it was renamed Ahmadiyya 10 years later and on November 19, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad made an announcement of this name which is taken from alternative name of Prophet of Islam Ahmad.
Now we come to the point on which the Ahmadiyya community remains in discussion due to which they are not considered as Muslims. Their faith. If you talk to an Ahmadiyya Muslim and ask them about their Faith, they will say that they strongly believe in one Allah, as normal Muslims also believe in one Allah. Ahmadiyya Muslim says that they also considers the Prophet of Islam as his prophet and also believes that the Qur’an is the book of Allah. They also say that they also believe in the pillars of Islam, prayer, fasting, Zakat, and Hajj. Same, like a normal Muslim, Ahmadi Muslim prays facing the Kaaba. So now the question is what is the ultimate problem due to which they are not considered Muslims?
End of prophethood:
The book of Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani Barahine Ahmadiyya. In it, he has claimed that he is a prophet, while the actual Muslim says that Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the last prophet, and there will be no prophet after him. Let us understand it first, let us see what is said in the Qur’an about the end of prophethood and the Qur’an chapter 33 verse 40 in which it is said but he is the prophet of Allah and he is the last of the prophets. The Prophet of Islam says that ” The example of all the prophets before me and of myself is like a man has built a very strong and well decorated house in one corner wall of which space has been left vacant for one brick ; people roam about in the home to see it and admire the construction but all of them say that why did not the builder put a brick in that space also which would have completed the construction. I am the last brick ( of palace of prophethood) ” and in some versions he said, ” I have filled up that vacant space and thus completed the palace of prophethood. “
It is clear from the hadith that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the last prophet and there will be no prophet after him. If someone claims to be a prophet, then he is a disbeliever, but now look at the composition of Ahmadiyya Muslim, how they manipulate the end of Prophethood to prove Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani as a prophet.
It is said in Ahmadiyya Muslim that they believe that Muhammad (PBUH) is the last prophet. But they say there are two types of Prophets: First, the Prophets of the Shariat are Prophets who are given the Shariat, such as Moses, who was given the Torah, and Muhammad, who was given the Qur’an. Other Late Prophets, Prophets who are not given the new Shariah follow the Shariah of their previous Prophet, remove the misunderstandings of the Ummah, and what is said about the end of Prophethood in the Qur’an or mentioned in the Hadiths is the first time, the Shariah. It has been said about the prophet that there will not be a prophet who will be given a new law. While the path of the second type of prophet is still open and Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani is the second type of prophet i.e. he has not been given Shariat but he follows the Shariat of Muhammad PBUH.
First, these two types of prophets understand the concept. When it comes to two types of prophets, one is a prophet and one is a messenger. A point-up will be kept in mind that those who are messengers are also prophets, but a prophet is not necessarily a messenger. Now we understand the difference between the two. First, we know who is a prophet. We know that a prophet is someone who is sent by Allah to bring people to the right path. He also gives revelation to them, but they are not given a new law. Rather, they follow the law of their previous prophet and tell people about right and wrong according to it, like Harun (peace be upon him) is a prophet, but he does not have any new law, but it is that of his previous prophet Moses (peace be upon him). Follow Shariat.
Others are messengers, those who are prophets but are also given a new law, such as the Torah to Moses, the Qur’an to Muhammad, and when a messenger is sent to the world, those who came before him. The Shariah of the Messenger ends there, and until a Messenger comes after him, his Shariah will be followed. Then how many prophets are there in this midst, as just mentioned, after Moses, Harun (peace be upon him) who was a prophet, he himself followed the law of Moses (peace be upon him), who was a messenger, but Muhammad (peace be upon him) followed his law. When he was sent as a messenger to the world, then the revelation of the law of Moses (peace be upon him) ended and Muhammad (peace be upon him) will be followed until the Day of Judgment because no prophet will come after Muhammad PBUH.
See a hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, Prophet Muhammad said, ” The politics and administration of Banu Israi’l was being handled by the prophets themselves. When one prophet expired, another prophet would take his place. And after me there is no prophet, but of course, there would be my khulafa’ who would be numerous”
It is clear from this hadith that no prophet will come after Muhammad, but we also understand this from the Qur’an where the word of Khatam un Nabiyyeen is used. Because if you see according to Ahmadiyya Muslim that here the Qur’an is talking about the termination of Shariat of prophet , then the word Khatam-ul-Rasoul or Khatam-ul-Mursaleen should have been used here because Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, is the Messenger, but the word Khatam-ul-Nabieen has been used here.
Meaning, no prophet will come, then the question of a messenger does not arise. In such a case, Khatam al-Nabieen confirms that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the last prophet and no prophet will come after him. And in Tirmidhi, there is a hadith narrated by Sayyidna Anas Ibn Malik, in which Prophet Muhammad PBUH said , ” No doudt Risalah and Nabuwwah stand terminated after me; after me there would neither be a rasool nor a Nabi”
This is proved by the Qur’an and Hadith, which are considered as authentic sources in Islam, and if a person does not believe even a small point of the Qur’an or if he denies the authentic Hadith, then he is considered a disbeliever.
Qur’an Chapter Two Verse 85 , ” Do you , then , some parts of the book , and disbelieve in others? what can be the punishment of those among you who do that, except disgrace in present life? And, on the day of judgment, they shall be turned to the most severe punishment.”
This was the truth of the Ahmadiyya community’s denial of the end of Prophethood. Now look at the second point.
Jihad:
The true meaning of Jihad is self-improvement and has nothing to do with war, meaning war has nothing to do with Jihad. While in Islam there were many wars like Battle of Badr, Battle of Uhud, Battle of Khyber. Khalid bin Waleed spent his whole life in the field of war and it is called Jihad, while Ahmadiyya Muslims say that the violence of Jihad is not connected with the war.
Jihad is an Arabic word and means struggle. In the Islamic way, it means fighting in the way of Allah, which is of two types.
Jihad Akbar means great jihad, it means that man himself fights against bad habits within himself. The main objective of which is to make oneself a better person.
The second is Jihad Asghar, which is called little Jihad, which is a physical Jihad and it is fought against justice, which can also be a conflict, but its conditions and limits are clearly mandated in Islam.
Quran chapter 2 verse 190, “Fight against him who fights against you, but do not transgress, for Allah does not like transgressors.”
While Ahmadiyya Muslims deny Jihad Asghar, even though these days very strange things are circulating on social media about Jihad, while the basic objective of Jihad in Islam is to establish truth, justice and peace, and it is not necessary that Jihad is always Be it a military conflict, it can also be a personal conflict like against your own bad habits. And some people link Jihad with terrorism even though it is completely separate from the teaching of Islam. Terror spreader may be a Muslim, but he spread terror, Islam does not say that at all.
Now its conclusion is that Muhammad PBUH is the last prophet of Allah and no other prophet will come. This is proved by Quran and Hadith. If someone claims to be a prophet, it means that he denied the end of prophethood and the one who does this is a disbeliever, he is not a Muslim, nor he is a part of Islam, and those who follow him are also not Muslims.
