Tahir Mahmood:

My name is Tahir Mahmood Sandhu and nowadays I work in a factory as a supervisor and I come from Shaukat Abad Colony of District Nankana Sahib. I was born into a Qadiani (Ahmadi) family. My grandfather was the first to accept Qadiyyaniat (Ahmadiyyat).

Aqeel Ahmad:

My grandfather became chairman of the local Qadiani Jamaat and he continued to be as long as he was alive. After his demise, my father became the chairman.

For fifteen years, he served as the chairman of the Jamaat Ahmadiyyah’s local chapter of Colony Shaukatabad. Since there were many Qadiani families in our village so my father had a Qadiani place of worship constructed under his supervision.

Tahir Mahmood:

Our reason for accepting Islam was the following. There was a Qadiani house here (in village). They placed a concrete slab inscribed with Kalimah Tayyibah over an open gutter. One of our Muslim brothers had seen that the Kalimah was written on this slab. He told a few people in the village that some Qadiani had placed a concrete slab on the gutter on which the Kalimah was written.

Aqeel Ahmad:

As my father had quite some influence among the Qadianis (Ahmadis) hence, the Muslim residents and scholars of that area came to him demanding that the slab should be handed over to them. My father then called that Qadiani who had put that slab in front of his house. The Qadiani claimed that he had spilled that slab into the river. After he had left, his wife came and asked What problem do you have with that slab? Why are you asking about it? When that woman was asked about the slab? She replied that they had thrown it in a dirty drain. My father then went to the local Qadiani President. When he was not available, he met his elder brother and asked him about the slab. That person said: ‘Damn leave it’. It was just the Kalimah. We broke it into pieces and threw it into that gutter. After that, the Qadiani District Ameer was contacted. He also said: “Damn leave it” and What did you get out of this effort?

Tahir Mahmood:

Hearing this, my father touched his ears and said “Astagfirullah”! and said this Jamaat of yours is not true!

Aqeel Ahmad:

Father was quite grieved, not only did they commit blasphemy with the Kalimah but their seniors did not bother to punish the person who had done this act. Seeing all this, my father, and my three brothers decided to curse Qadianiyyat and embraced Islam.

Tahir Mahmood:

We then accepted Islam on 27th of Ramadan. When I accepted Islam, the Qadianis (Ahmadis) tried to bribe me, telling me: ‘Come back to the Jamaat Ahmadiyyah you will get your wife and children back, and we will even give you a big house. However, I did not accept his offer.

Zahir Mahmood:

When my father and three brothers accepted Islam then they asked me to accept Islam with them too. However, there were some reasons that I could not accept Islam right then. I left home with my wife and children. So I rented a family quarter in the factory where I used to work. We lived there for about one year.

Abrar Ahmad:

We are five brothers. We became Muslims, that is, three brothers and my father all four of us and later on my brother Zahir Mahmood, too whom I had urged to do so.

Zahir Mahmood:

I stayed in touch with my father and also with brother Abrar, I would meet them quite often, I would go to their place. My father kept asking me: ‘Son! You should accept Islam. It is the only true path, would just put it off, telling him: “No father, not now.” Don’t talk to me about this. But he kept urging me.

Abrar Ahmad:

After accepting Islam, I began to study Qadianiyyat and then worked on my brother Zahir Mahmood. I told him about the Qadiani heresies, for example as Mirza writes in his book: ‘I am Muhammad’ (Nauzu Billah). How can anyone stand up to the Holy Prophet (S.A.W)?

Zahir Mahmood:

So after that I would discuss this topic with brother Abrar. Brother Abrar kept telling me to become Muslim, to have a look at the (Qadiani) Books. He told me quite much about the books and also showed them to me. I had already begun to think about these matters and I became more and more convinced that Qadianis (Ahmadis) are indeed liars. Alhamdulillah, on 12th June, 2020 I announced my having accepting Islam along with my whole family. I came to realize that my father and my three brothers had made the right decision by accepting Islam.

Tahir Mahmood:

When we accepted Islam, the Qadianis (Ahmadis) reacted by taking my wife and my children from me. When we went to Chanabnagar (Rabwah) to meet the kids, people tried to harass us. They had their army of white-collared rowdies, follow us on motorcycles. Alhamdulillah, we were in touch with Maulana Ilyas Chinioti. When we accepted Islam, several scholars came to visit us and we got his number through them. We contacted him and told him that the Qadianis (Ahmadis) were trying to harass us. We turned the speaker on. All the Qadiani rowdies heard the conversation then they left us alone. The Qadianis (Ahmadis) then begin to trouble us in other ways. At times they would call 15 (i.e. the police) to somehow make us come back to Qadiyyaniat. We were arrested three or four times. But in spite of all this, we remained steadfast on Islam.

Aqeel Ahmad:

When we accepted Islam, we did not know the full extent of the Qadiani heresies. We then met Maulana Muneer Alavi Naib Ameer of Shubban Khatm-e-Nabuwat. He told us in detail about Mirza Qadiani’s heresies what he had written in his own books. After that, we realized that Mirza Qadiani was indeed a heretic an infidel and a big Cult.

Tahir Mahmood:

I had three children, two sons and one daughter. Ever since they took my wife and my children away from me. I had no chance of meeting them. They not even let me talk on phone. They block my number. Whenever I called even if the call was received, they would just drop the line. One day I thought that why not call from a different number and try to talk to them. I called from a different number. My son picked up. He recognized my voice and asked me: ‘Papa, how are you?’ ‘I replied: I am fine, son’. ‘Papa, please come!’ ‘I said: Son, I’ll come.’ When I should come? He said: Come in the morning! We had just talked that much when someone in the background asked, ‘Whose call is it?’ I have no idea who took the phone, but the line was cut off. I did not talk to my wife or my children after that.

Abrar Ahmad:

Since I am a student and because I was a Qadiani formerly and that’s why I want to tell my Muslim fellow students to keep away, to avoid this Qadiani Cult and to have perfect faith and certitude in Finality of Prophethood.

Aqeel Ahmad:

Shubban Khatm-e-Nubuwat did a very good thing by starting this series about Muslim reverts. This series is very beneficial. We really want this series to continue in future, too.

Tahir Mahmood:

Now the purpose of our life is…

Zahir Mahmood:

… to help those people who stagger in the darkness of infidelity ….

Aqeel Ahmad:

… to help them out of the darkness …

Tahir Mahmood:

… bring them towards the light of Islam.
