How Ahmadiyya Misrepresents Islam: A Closer Look at Their Doctrinal Distortions

While the Ahmadiyya movement claims to be part of Islam, their core beliefs contradict Quranic teachings, Hadith, and the unanimous consensus of Islamic scholars. This article examines how Ahmadiyya misrepresents Islam by distorting Islamic theology and misleading people about their true identity.

Claiming to Be Muslim

🔹 Islam defines a Muslim as someone who believes in the finality of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) (Quran 33:40).

🔹 Ahmadiyya denies this by claiming that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was a prophet. (Nauzubillah)

🔹 Despite this clear contradiction, they continue calling themselves ‘Muslim’ to confuse people.

📌 This is religious identity fraud. If a non-citizen falsely claims to be a citizen, it is legally punished. Likewise, those who falsely claim to be Muslims while rejecting Islam’s core tenets must be identified for what they are.

“Reformation, Not New Prophethood”

Ahmadiyya / Qadiyanni followers argue that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was not a “new prophet” but a “reformer” or “shadow prophet.”

🔹 Reality: He explicitly declared himself a prophet and even claimed superiority over past prophets.

📌 Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s own writings confirm his false claims:

“I am the same Promised Messiah who was prophesied by the Quran and Hadith.” (Ruhani Khazain, Vol. 22, p. 502) (Nauzubillah)

“Anyone who does not follow me is disobedient to God and His Messenger.” (Ruhani Khazain, Vol. 23, p. 325) (Nauzubillah)

📌 By claiming prophetic authority, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad placed himself in direct opposition to Quranic teachings.

Ahmadis selectively interpret Quranic verses to justify their beliefs.

🔹 Distortion Example: They claim Quran 61:6 (mention of a “messenger to come”) refers to Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.

🔹 Truth: This verse refers to Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) and was a prophecy given by Prophet Isa (Jesus, Peace be upon Him) about His coming.

📌 Misinterpreting Quranic verses is a deliberate attempt to mislead people into believing that Islam allows new prophets.

🔹 Ahmadis hide their true beliefs when engaging with Muslims.

🔹 Many new followers are recruited under the impression that Ahmadiyya is just another sect of Islam.

🔹 Once people are deep into the movement, they are exposed to Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s actual teachings.

📌 This deceptive conversion strategy is why many governments require Ahmadis to identify themselves separately from Muslims.

🔹 By claiming to be Muslim while contradicting Islamic beliefs, Ahmadis create division in the Ummah.

🔹 They attempt to distort history by presenting themselves as ‘persecuted Muslims’ when in reality, they are not part of Islam.

🔹 They lobby internationally to pressure Muslim nations into accepting them as Muslims, despite clear theological rejection.

📌 This is not just a theological debate—it’s a deliberate attempt to confuse and manipulate religious identity.

As Muslims, it is our duty to protect the purity of faith and ensure that falsehood does not mix with truth.

✅ Recognize Ahmadiyya as a separate religious group which is Non-Muslim, and NOT a sect of Islam.

✅ Educate fellow Muslims so they are not misled by Ahmadiyya propaganda.

✅ Support laws that protect the finality of Prophethood from distortion.

📌 Islam is clear: No new prophet will come after Muhammad (Peace be upon Him). Those who claim otherwise are outside the fold of Islam.

Ahmadiyya / Qadiyani misrepresents Islam by:

🔹 Falsely claiming to be Muslims while rejecting finality of Prophethood.

🔹 Twisting Quranic verses to support their beliefs.

🔹 Using deceptive tactics in conversion.

🔹 Causing division in the Ummah.

📌 It is our duty to stay informed, speak the truth, and protect the purity of our faith.
