The Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said :
The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the people are safe, and the believer is the one who is trusted with the lives and wealth of the people.
الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ النَّاسُ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُ مَنْ أَمِنَهُ النَّاسُ عَلَى دِمَائِهِمْ وَأَمْوَالِهِمْ
[Sunan al-Nasā’ī 4998]
Note:
I have noticed since yesterday that a Qadiani (Ahmadi) writer Kashif has written an article in which he has mentioned me ( and Shaykh Hamza Yusuf) and asked his followers (since we have blocked him) to tag me us in the article.
In the article he presents various Hadith to prove his point that according to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ one is a Muslim even if one does not believe in Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (!). He quotes a Hadith for this and fails to mention that every Hadith is to be understood in its context like the Holy Quran.
In this Hadith which I have mentioned above even many Muslims can be considered Muslims and they don’t even need to believe in Toheed and pray like Muslims IF we apply the same foolish logic of Kashif Chaudhry.
According to the logic of Kashif they should consider every peaceful human being a Muslim. Will they do that ? Obviously not.
The irony is that they (Qadianis/Ahmadis) do not consider the 1.7 Billion Muslims to be Muslim and declare us as Non-Muslim because we don’t believe in their Prophet Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani (died 1908).
Despite that the Muslim world does not accept Qadianis as Muslims, we strongly condemn any violence directed to them because of their beliefs. They as followers of Qadianism have their right to practise their faith.
