My name is Munawar Ahmad Malik and I belong to Mahmoodabad Jhelum which is a settlement near Jhelum city, My primary education is from there FSC and BSc also from Jhelum city. I did MSc Physics from Punjab University New Campus in 1981 and 1983. And after that in government colleges that Chakwal Jhelum Gujjar Khan there I teach Physics to B.Sc.F.Sc. I have retired after 30 years of service. And nowadays I am living in Islamabad and doing business in Islamabad. And the business is also of my own inventions and I have developed my own technology in marketing and business.
I was an Ahmadi by birth. My father was also an Ahmadi by birth and what we call Qadianism, which we used to call Ahmadiyya, There was a Maulvi Sahib of Jhelum city in 1891, Burhanuddin Sahib, so he went to Qadian, he returned what he saw from there. When he preached, our entire village, our elders at that time, were all his disciples. Therefore, they made their students Ahmadis and those who were our students did not do any research and in the same way they just stayed with them that what the teacher said will be right.
And there was no one among them who knew what the arguments were, and what the proofs were for what Mirza had claimed. So in our family or in our whole village this congregation grew in the early 1900s. And my grandfather was also a born Ahmadi and my father was also a born Ahmadi. I was also a born Ahmadi and a great zealous worker of the congregation. And I have invested a lot of time in the congregation and done a lot of service on my behalf. And even when I was studying in the Punjab University, I was the leader of the Ahmadi youths whom people called God’s Ahmadiyyah. Then I was busy in various activities of the Jamaat in such a way that I used to have some main role in their meetings. I have also been in Lahore and in Chakwal, I was the supervisor of Chakwal. And then when I came to the Jhelum, I became the Naib Amir Jamaat District Jhelum.
The major activities in my life up to that time were related to the Jamaat.Even if I kept my academic activities behind, I used to give priority to the activities of the Jamaat. Mirza Sahib’s books are a great proof that Mirza Sahib can be proven wrong only by these books. Those who are reading them cannot remain in the congregation.
When I started reading my books, I was also surprised because I was an Ahmadi by birth, I used to give donations and serve. So we didn’t have any doubt about it at first. But when you read the books, there are many things that show that this is wrong. I started asking Sultan Mahmood Anwar Sahib questions in this regard. So he did not answer me, I was there to meet him and I said to him, “Sir, I had written a letter to you and asked these questions in it”, was making lame , by which my doubts became more firm.
I noticed that many of the questions are not answered. Because I was an Ahmadi and I used to preach, many questions needed to be answered, but we did not have the answers. When there was some mild discussion in the local community. I saw the system that is running in the Jamaat, which we call systematic, then it was found that there is no system here, there is no rule, only what Mirza Sahib’s family says, the system is running according to this calculation.
When we talked about this system, We observed that the law says something, the rules and regulations of our association that are written was something, then we found out that it is nothing. I saw that donations are important in the existing system, there is no other law, there is no system, there is nothing, only donations have to be collected. It is believed that they are experts in donations. And if an Ahmadi does not donate, he cannot remain an Ahmadi. So these things were such that people started to raise some kind of question which caused anxiety and when the local community saw that these kinds of things were happening, they formed a front against us and it became so much that it reached more and more lawsuits.
They put one of their occupation group behind us, and they made cases on us. And those trials happened in such a way that we all won but they lost then the fate of the Jamaat became very bad after that. Allah has blessed me with my whole family, my brother, my father, and we 13 servants in 1999 by announcing that we are regular Muslims. And after that, Allah gave us so many favors that if I start counting them, it would be difficult to count them. After becoming Muslim, we continued our efforts and soon we have a family of six members who also become Muslims.
And after that, there were other relatives of ours, including children who studied, some became doctors, some did MPhil, some did MA. By the grace of Allah, they researched themselves and propagated themselves, so an environment was created. Made it so that then together some 13 14 servants became Muslims. In it were my brothers, in it there were relatives from my Wife’s side. And all of them were well-educated, so all of them became Muslims, Masha Allah. Now, almost all of our family has become Muslim. Those who are Qadiani or Mirzai, their slogan is that Love for all, Hated for none. What is actual now is the exact opposite. In fact, their slogan is Hated for all, Love for none.
When we became Muslims, a good front was formed against us, lawsuits were also filed and a complete ban was ordered against us. Social boycott and this boycott has been going on for 20 years, not six months or for a year.
Even our old relatives who were our close relatives with whom we used to live together are still angry with us.Even if we meet them, if someone is forced to speak, they will speak in a state of displeasure. I want to give this message to the Qadianis who are educated and young, and I want to advise them that you should consider that the claims made by Mirza Sahib were also claimed by Imam Mahdi as the Promised Messiah. It was also the Prophet’s and he also claimed that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had made this prophecy and told about the future Imam Mahdi and said that reaching him on the snow-covered peaks. Even if you have to go on your knees, you have to reach there and say my greetings, Mirza claims that he is Imam Mahdi.
So I want to say to these young people that just consider that when Mirza Sahib died, not even one percent of people in India believed him in his entire region. According to him, he came for the whole world. So the whole world is a distant matter, not even one percent of India, which was their own country, believed in him. And if we talk about Punjab only, even in Punjab not one percent believed him. And now that a hundred years have passed since his death, even in India and Pakistan apart from the whole world, not even one percent of people believe in Mirza Sahib.
So think for yourself that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prophesies a person and he returns from this world unsuccessful and there is not even one percent of people in the world who believe in him. Attributing prophecy to him is an insult to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When I was in the stages of conversion that I was looking for ego on the other side after I was finished, it happened once that I came home after morning walk and I sat next to the bed and lay down with my legs down. So what I see is that the sunlight is coming through the trees at an angle of 30 degrees from the polytheist and it is growing on my chest and the leaves of the trees are moving. And I am saying that the white light from the sky is illuminating my chest and I am not sleeping, I am awake and I call the name of my nephews, he is describing me, he is playing outside, and so-and-so is playing.
My Begum says that what are you saying that I am waking up and there is a sound of so and so. So I woke up, I said, this means that Allah will give me progress in knowledge. So now the question was that if I had done MSc, then what is the knowledge? So the answer I got was that Allah showered me with inventions and new technologies and by the grace of Allah, I am the person who claims the most innovations in Pakistan.
Please note that 31 inventions of mine were registered for patent in PCSIR laboratory alone in one year while the total was 42 in all of Pakistan and 31 of them were mine. So this is the grace of Allah and all this Allah gave me. After accepting Islam, now my aim in life is to serve the Muslim nation, to do something that will lead to development for everyone and for this I am striving and I hope from Allah Almighty that Allah Almighty will give me Tawfiq so that I can serve the Muslims better.
